El poder dorado

La idea de dos hombres musculosos bañados en oro contorsionándose el uno sobre el otro y prácticamente revolcándose podría sonar al guión de alguna película porno que buscase saciar los fetiches de muchos. Sin embargo, el director sueco Filip Nilsson consiguió hacer de estas escenas algo dulce en Change of heart el último vídeo de la cantante, también sueca, Sarah Assbring, mejor conocida como El Perro del Mar.

El primer sencillo de Love is not pop, segunda producción de El perro del mar, vino acompañado del vídeo en el que la dupla de Budapest, The Golden Power (compuesta por Sandor Vlah y Gyula Takaes), hace una serie de acrobacias y contorsiones que, más allá de rallar en lo homoerótico, exponen toda la plasticidad y belleza del cuerpo masculino, en formas incluso no pensadas. A pesar de no haber ninguna intención sexual, el vídeo cuenta con una carga erótica que entra en reacción con la melancolía de la canción.

Al final, la metáfora de la imagen y la canción es honesta: soltarse y dejarse llevar por el otro. Acá una muestra de ello:

This is the first single from her second album, Love is not pop and the video features Budapest's duo The Golden Power (Sandor Vlah y Gyula Takaes). In the video, they perform a series of acrobatics and contortions that beyond grating as homoerotic, expose all the plasticity and beauty of the male body in ways not even conceived. Despite not having any sexual intent, the video has an erotic power that reacts with the melancholy of the song.

In the end, both the metaphor of the image and the song are honest: to get loose and drift on the other.
