Two men covered in gold paint rubbing their bodies against each other may sound as the plot of any porn movie. However, Swedish film director Filip Nilsson turned that into something sweet in Change of Heart, the newest video from Sarah Assbring aka El Perro del Mar.
This is the first single from her second album, Love is not pop and the video features Budapest's duo The Golden Power (Sandor Vlah y Gyula Takaes). In the video, they perform a series of acrobatics and contortions that beyond grating as homoerotic, expose all the plasticity and beauty of the male body in ways not even conceived. Despite not having any sexual intent, the video has an erotic power that reacts with the melancholy of the song.
In the end, both the metaphor of the image and the song are honest: to get loose and drift on the other.
